I am usually not a spring person. For me it is always about summer. However, since moving into my new place and getting a balcony, the spring bug has bite me. Right now the only thing out there now is a dead plant. Time to make my area all cute. So I looking at furniture pieces I usually pay no attention to when I’m out.
Pier 1 was one of the many places I stopped and checked out. I walked around and really started to to take notice of the real nice things they carry. What caught my eye the most, is the furniture that can double as indoor and outdoor. To me this only makes shopping more fun. You aren’t limited. I saw a clearance section full of cute and sheek rugs, mirrors and sculptures that would accent my patio as well as my living room. The pricing was reasonable as well. Total win-win for me.
Some of my favorite pieces were the Iconic Papasan collection. The Swingasan (sku 2434820), the Double Papasan Chair (sku 2443887,2443874), and the Rockasan Chair (sku 2440357,2440360) were some of my top favorite must haves. These pieces would be a must indoors or outdoors. I also saw a Ciudad Corner Chair (sku 2437338 a Pier 1 exclusive) which is on my to get list for my teen. I envisioned her sitting Indian leg style in that chair using her laptop. She would really like that chair. It was cube style, modern and different. Teens like things with originality and that chair has all of that.
When I got home I went to Pier 1 website to continue “window” shopping and love the ease of navigating around their site and the many online specials. They even have there Easter decor sale going on to make it easy to decorate the house just in time for the holiday.
Pier 1 is also hosting some Pier 1 Tweetups. Its a event were bloggers and tweeters meet up and of course do some shopping! You can go to IZEA for more information on when there coming to a city near you.
